The Miami-Dade Police Department is searching for Lauren Lamar, a woman who disappeared on a boating trip on May 24.

Police say the 26-year-old woman went out on the water with two people, a 45-year-old man and 28-year-old woman, who reported Lamar was missing around 11:09 p.m.

The duo told police they didn't realize Lamar was gone until they docked, and believed she was sleeping below deck.

A multiagency search team is combing a 3-mile radius at the Matheson Hammocks Marina.

Investigators are interviewing the couple who left with Lamar on their boat, but docked without her.

Police say this is still a search and rescue mission.

According to police, Lamar has relatives in metro Atlanta.
