Atlanta Park Director Terrie Clemmons, 2 Others Fired After Lewd Party

The director of an Atlanta recreation center and two other staff members have been fired after disturbing allegations of wrongdoing. 

An X-rated, alcohol-fueled party inside the Rosel Fann Recreation Center is just one of the disturbing allegations tued up by city investigators.

City council members received the results of the city's investigation late Friday.

The city law office says their investigation found that staff members were secretly renting out the recreation center then pocketing all the fees they charge for themselves

The report details an April party where nude male dancers performed and alcohol was sold.

The report also alleges that, staff members, along with secretly renting out the center, were also falsifying probationer community service hours for cash. It also states that teens had sex while being improperly supervised on out of town trip.

Nesha Howard says her children are regulars at Rosel Fann and she's shocked by the allegations.

”I think that is totally wrong because the center should be a center for kids, Howard said.

The center's director,Terrie Clemmons, and staff members Tyrone Smith and Guy Harrison have all been fired as a result of the investigation.

”If that was actually going on and they pocketed the money then definitely something needs to be done, Howard said.

The Mayor's office told FOX 5’s Justin Gray that the city is already making changes in the wake of the investigation.

Several policies and procedures have been changed including better documentation of recreation center reservations and rentals and the suspension of all co-ed oveight trips.
