Atlanta man Robert Mobley 'passed out behind wheel after drink and drugs binge while son, 2, was with him'
An Atlants father was arrested amid claims he passed out from a drink and drugs binge while driving his toddler son.
Police accused Robert Eugene Mobley of losing consciousness while driving his SUV with his two-year-old son sat in the front passenger seat.
He was arrested after police reportedly discovered him in the car at a motorway slip road in Atlanta, at 5.30am on Sunday August 10.
Police said it took three attempts to wake the 39-year-old as he lay slumped over the steering wheel with his foot on the brake. The car's engine was believed to be still running.
A bottle and cup containing whiskey were found inside the vehicle.
While being questioned by police, Mobley allegedly gave a false name, calling himself Robert Griffin.
He was arrested on several charges including driving under the influence, cocaine possession and child endangerment.
