The lone survivor of the Standard Bar robbery and shooting talks with FOX 5 reporter Doug Evans about her reaction to the arrest of a suspect in the crime.

Four months and one day since the robber at the Standard Bar and the shooting death of John Henderson, 17-year-old Jonathan Redding was arrested for the crime.

It has been some kind of day Ashley Elder, the lone survivor the Standard Bar robbery and shooting.

"I'm really happy. All the hard work from the detectives paid off. The kid is caught. I'm waiting until the end of the day to express my feelings because I don't know what to feel right now," said Elder.

Just a few weeks ago, Elder took FOX 5 reporter Doug Evans on a tour of the Standard Bar. She talked of the terrifying moments in the back office with the same gunmen who murdered bartender John Henderson.

Elder said during that interview, "I knew they would be back any second. I looked to see what I could do and decided that my best bet was to go down to my knees and cover my head and wait for them to come back here."

Today, Elder reflects on the arrest and looks ahead.

"Everybody has grief. Everybody has loss -- some more than others. You have no choice but to go on," she said.

Evans asks Elder, "What would you say to the man police accuse of robbing her and killing John Henderson?"

"'You can't take a human life with know that you took a human life.' That's all I would say to him. He'll be chewing on this the rest of his life," said Elder.

She admits that she is very fearful of the three men that are still on the loose.
