Arrest in Fatal Marietta Hit and Run
Police say a man has been arrested in hit and run death of a 22-year-old Kennesaw woman. Curtis L. Williams, 40 of Marietta, was taken into custody by Marietta police on Saturday afteoon. Investigators said he was driving the 2004 Chevrolet Tahoe that struck and killed Jaytann West as she and a friend walked along Powers Ferry Place on Thursday night.
Investigators used roadway evidence against evidence on the vehicle as well as testimony from witnesses who came forward after seeing news reports.
