Tech bloggers everywhere were live-blogging the Apple keynote speech delivered by CEO Tim Cook in San Francisco that finally unveiled what we've all been waiting for and speculating about for months: the new iPad. The new version, which starts at $499, has a retina display, 5-megapixel camera, 1080p video recording and can be used as a personal Hotspot for up to five devices.

Pre-orders for the iPad, which comes in black and white, start today, and it will hit stores March 16, as expected. A 4G version will be available starting at $629. Oh, and Apple TV will be out March 16 as well, for $99.
