Amanda Bynes 'much better', home for holidays after leaving The Canyon
GOOD news for Amanda Bynes fans as she is released from a treatment centre and is said to be feeling better as she is cared for by her parents.
Bynes has been at The Canyon treatment centre in Malibu since September after her stay at the UCLA psychiatric ward.
She is being treated for bipolar disorder and schizophrenia.
TMZ reports that medication and counselling has stablised her condition to the point where doctors felt she could be released in time for the holidays.
Bynes still has a drink driving charge to face in court after a judge ruled her mentally competent to stand trial.
The actress grabbed headlines earlier this year for a series of odd behaviour, including sending out insulting tweets, calling people ugly and throwing a bong out of a window and claiming it was a vase.
