TIGER Woods, Kobe Bryant and the Baltimore Ravens all made headlines this week — for things we already knew were going to happen.

Check out these spooky sport predictions that have recently come true.

1. EARL WOODS PREDICTED TIGER'S MAJOR COUNT

TIGER Woods gave his first press conference since his second off-season back surgery this week and left the golf world fearing he'll retire.

Whether or not he makes it back on the fairway, it appears almost certain Woods' health issues will prevent him from ever challenging for another major.

It's a shame, but no surprise really if you revisit this article from a 1995 edition of Sports Illustrated, published just after Woods won the US Amateur Championships.

'I'm going to make a prediction,' said Tiger's father, Earl Woods. 'Before he's through, my son will win 14 major championships.'

Woods claimed his first major at the 1997 Masters and had his father's prediction looking low when he notched up No. 14 back in 2008. But then his ex-wife started swinging golf clubs around and he hasn't been the same since.

In retrospect, his father's prophecy was insanely specific.

2. LAKERS BROADCASTER KNEW HOW LONG KOBE WOULD PLAY

KOBE Bryant only averaged 7.6 points per game in his rookie season in the NBA after jumping straight from high school to the pros.

But it wasn't hard to see his undeniable talent and that he was headed for a long career at the highest level.

Still, this prediction from long-time Lakers broadcaster Chick Hea is still eerily on point. In the video above, Hea tells Bryant he has '19 or 20 years to play with the Lakers'.

Bryant announced this week he would retire at the end of the season, his 20th in the NBA.

3. REPORTER FORECASTS WILD RAVENS WIN

THE Cleveland Browns endured another heartbreaking defeat on Tuesday (AEDT) when the Baltimore Ravens produced a late miracle to snatch a 33-27 win.

Long-suffering Browns fans could have saved themselves the pain of watching a disastrous final play if they followed Baltimore reporter Luke Jones on Twitter.

Just moments before the Browns attempted a potential game-winning field goal, Jones made this prediction.

Then this happened.
