Two Arrested in Alpharetta Baby Death

ALPHARETTA, Ga. - Alpharetta police said Friday that they are investigating what they call the suspicious death of a 4-year-old girl. Paramedics who responded to her home on homestead trail Friday moing found her unresponsive. The girl later died at the hospital.

Alpharetta Police and Fire units responded to an address in Alpharetta. Once on the scene, investigators found the child in need of emergency medical attention.

The child was transported to North Fulton Hospital and then medically airlifted to Children's Healthcare of Atlanta at Scottish Rite. The child was pronounced deceased at Scottish Rite Hospital.

Two people were arrested in connection with the child's death. A determination of formal charges is pending as the investigation is ongoing.
