36-year-old Brett Proffitt arrested on child porn charges
Federal and state investigators have arrested a 36-year-old man accused of child poography and molestation, according to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation.
Investigators took Brett Allen Proffitt into custody at his home in Winterville last week.
He has been charged with child molestation and sexual exploitation of of children/child poography, GBI officials said.
He’s being held in the Ogelthorpe County Jail in southweste Georgia without bond, police said.
