3 shot, one stabbed at Decatur motel

DECATUR, Ga. -

Authorities are investigating a triple shooting that happened at a motel in Decatur.

The incident happened at the Affordable Inn on the 1900 block of Glenfair Road.

According to Major Lane Cunningham with DeKalb County Police, the shooting occurred as a result of an altercation between two women. Reportedly, a pair of men attempted to thwart the fight and they were injured, as well.

All four victims were transported to Grady Memorial Hospital. One woman was cut and another was shot in the hand and both men are listed in critical condition with various gunshot wounds.

No word on the initial cause of the alteation. This story is developing.
