Police say two people have been found dead inside a DeKalb County hotel.

The bodies of a male and female were discovered at the Knights Inn on Monday, according to the DeKalb County Police Department.

The hotel is located on Panola Road in Lithonia.

Police say a housekeeper found the victims, dead from gunshot wounds, inside room 312 on the third floor.

The sister of the male victim tells police she doesn't know who the female victim is.

DeKalb police are trying to determine a motive. Police say they are investigating this as a double homicide.
