Authorities say a 19-year-old student at North Carolina A&T State University has been killed after a fight at a party.

Greensboro Police said in a news release that Dorian Edwards was shot during a large party at an apartment complex less than a mile from campus around 12:45 a.m. Sunday. He died a short time later at the hospital.

Investigators say Edwards was shot after several people argued at the party. No arrests have been made, and police are asking anyone with information to come forward.

The university says Edwards was a freshman chemical engineering major from Atlanta.
