Nearly half of the guns that crossed state lines and were used in crimes nationwide last year were sold in just 10 states, including Georgia.

Ten states accounted for nearly 21,000 guns that were sold, then used in crimes in other states.

The states where those guns were sold were Georgia, Florida, Virginia, Texas, Indiana, Ohio, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Califoia and Arizona.

The information comes in a study from a group called Mayors Against Illegal Guns.
