World's most unselfish co-workers share Powerball win with broke gal
You can’t win it unless you’re in it — unless you're 31-year-old Jennifer Maldonado. When one of her Florida co-workers begged her to pitch in $20 for Powerball tickets, Maldonado passed, saying she was broke. So when she walked in Sunday and everyone was shrieking about their $1 million win, she assumed they were faking. “I knew I was the only one who hadn’t put in the money, so I thought they were pranking me,” said Maldonado.
She really HAD missed out, but no worries: Her generous co-workers decided to include her in their winnings anyway. “If we do the right thing and always care about other people, the right thing will happen to us,” said one of the lucky ladies. [Source] [Source]
