A woman who decided to go for a McDonald"s as a quick alteative while moving house bit off more than she can chew.

Annah Sophia Stevenson realised something was not right after three bites.

She pulled a half-eaten cockroach out of her mouth… and doesn"t know where the rest of it went.

She went to the bathroom to throw up but when she brushed her teeth she found a black shell had lodged between her dentures.

Annah said: ‘I was working on it for about three or four seconds, I thought it was a bit of grisly meat. The guts were hanging out and it had a big hole in the middle of it."

She posted her ordeal on Facebook where she said she bought the burger at McDonald"s in Blenheim, Queensland, Australia.

She told the Marlborough Express: ‘I"ll never, ever eat another Big Mac as long as I live."

McDonalds said it would investigate the incident.

‘We take any complaint regarding food safety very seriously," the company told Fairfax. ‘The franchisee has contacted Annah and is organising to pick up the Big Mac so that they can investigate further."
