Woman complains about hamburgers, ends up in jail
In commercials for Carl's Jr., a Hardee's sister company, the burgers are so delicious even supermodels can't eat them without involuntarily writhing in pleasure.
In real life, though, the greasy grub made one Tennessee customer call 911.
Donna Marie Nichols was arrested after phoning the authorities twice to report a funny-tasting burger. "I only took a small bite out of the burger and it's nasty," she said, according to The Smoking Gun.
The police report states that Hardee's indicated "they had told her to retu and they would refund her money." Instead, Nichols dined on the non-Zagat-rated offerings of the Roane County jail.
