Whataburger worker refuses to serve police
Company response: Whataburger said on Wednesday that they fired the employee, who has not been identified, who worked at this Lewisville, Texas location where the police were refused. They also released a public apology

Two police officers who tried to order some burgers at a Lewisville, Texas, Whataburger were refused service by one of the employees, according to TheBlaze.com and KTVT-TV.

One man who was watching the interaction tweeted, "Uh oh ... this isn't going to go well."

Witnesses said the employee said, "We don't serve police."

Whataburger officials quickly responded with a message on social media saying they were appalled by the employee's actions and said he is no longer employed at the restaurant.

They said they had invited the officers back to the restaurant so they could apologize to them in person.

They said it appears to be an isolated incident, but they're investigating.
