You can have Letterman and LiLo, but the real home of the wince-worthy interview is the football broadcast booth when the celebrity du jour stops to palaver with announcers who only want to tell you about hitch routes and hang time. And going straight to the Awkward Hall of Fame is Eminem's drive-by with ESPN's Brent Musburger and Kirk Herbstreit at the Notre Dame-Michigan game.
Purportedly there to hype his upcoming album, the pride of Detroit promptly told Herbie that "nothing" about the record excited him except "just to be done with it," before he and Musburger went all gooey with each other and Eminem finally declared, "I'm really uncomfortable right now." You, too?
