Usually invincible Vladimir Putin fails at bobsledding
Russian Prime Minister/ruler-for-life Vladimir Putin went bobsledding yesterday, adding to his casual legend in the wide world of sports. As The Atlantic recently reminded us in a photo essay called \"Vladimir Putin, Action Man,\" the de facto ruler of Russia has previously played ice hockey, driven a race car, hosted a judo training session, arm wrestled and ridden a horse in Siberia while shirtless.
Yesterday's two-man bobsled ride almost sent him from one end of a V-shaped course to the other, but his sled didn't quite make it up the incline. Putin is running for president again this year against New Jersey Nets owner Mikhail Prokhorov, so he'd better start inflating that basketball.
