Sandy Springs police are investigating a shooting inside an apartment on Franklin Road that left two men dead. Detectives are looking for the shooter. It happened Sunday around 6:30 p.m.

Eulalio Mederos-Vega, 27, of Sandy Springs, and Byron Caceres, 23, of Norcross, were both killed at Vega's home where he lives with his wife and young child.

Detectives are interviewing family and neighbors. Police did not immediately have a motive or a suspect.

One of Vega's family members said his family does not know other man killed.

"When somebody called me I came over here, but I don't have an idea of what happened," said Candelario Cruze, Vega's brother-in-law.

Investigators said there is not evidence of forced entry and they have not found the murder weapon.
