Two men arrested in Henry County church break-in
Police have charged Caden Phillips (left) and Ryan Rittberger (right) in connection to a recent burglary at a Henry County church.

Police in Henry County say they have two men in custody following the break-in of a McDonough church last week.

According to Henry County police, an anonymous tip led to the identification and arrest of two suspects, 18-year-old Caden Phillips and 20-year-old Ryan Rittberger.

The Salem Baptist Church, located on Highway 155 North in McDonough, was hit early on Thursday.  Authorities say a security camera caught the pair in the act as they rifled drawers and cash boxes.  In all, three acoustic guitars, a laptop computer, money and snacks were taken from the church.

Police say following an execution of a search warrant at an unspecified location, some of the items were recovered. They say the three guitars and the laptop remain missing.
