Two men who allegedly stole parts from the car Paul Walker was killed in have been charged with grand theft.

Jameson Witty, 18, and Anthony Janow, 25, are accused of taking part of the Porsche Carrera GT’s roof as it was being removed from the crash site in Los Angeles last month.

Meanwhile, friends and fans of the Fast And The Furious star gathered to pay their respects in a procession of high-performance cars close to where he was killed.

Around 5,000 people attended the event that ended on Sunday, with many leaving flowers, candles, stuffed animals and other tributes.

Gardener Edi Maya, who worked in Walker’s neighbourhood, attended the memorial.

‘I work next to his house every week, twice a week. Seeing those candles there, it’s heartbreaking,’ he told KABC-TV.

Walker, 40, was killed when the Porsche Carrera GT he was riding in crashed and burst into flames.

His friend Roger Rodas, who was driving, also died, with authorities confirming speed was a factor in the accident.
