A Russian jet reportedly was shot down Tuesday moing near the Turkey-Syria border.
According to The Associated Press, Turkey said its F-16s shot down the Su-24 jet following several waings. Russia, however, claims the jet \"was downed by artillery fire\" and that it never entered Turkish airspace, the AP reports.
The pilots parachuted and have not had contact with Moscow since, the Russian Defense Ministry said.
