Tree Falls on Atlanta House, Trapping Residents
ATLANTA, Ga. - Two people escaped serious injury after a large tree crashed down on the roof of a southeast Atlanta home early Wednesday moing.
The tree fell around 2 a.m. as an 82-year-old woman and her niece were sleeping inside the home, which is located on Lydia Drive.
Georgia Newsday has leaed that the two were trapped inside the house for more than half an hour before rescue workers were able to free them.
