Topless newsreader Enki Bracaj suspended after signing up for Playboy shoot

A television presenter who miraculously landed a job by auditioning with her blouse completely undone has been suspended after signing up to a Playboy photoshoot.

Enki Bracaj, 21, became an oveight celebrity after she landed her dream job on an Albanian TV station.

She sent audience figures soaring and was an instant hit because of her attractive appearance.

But bosses quickly became conceed when the TV presenter started receiving several raunchy photoshoot offers.

TV station CEO Ismet Drishti confirmed that the presenter was currently suspended after she accepted a photoshoot offer from Playboy.

She has already been replaced by 21-year-old Greta Hoxha who is keeping up with the open-shirt tradition.

Speaking about his original decision to hire her, Ismet said: ‘The idea came after I realised that all the TV stations in Albania had more or less the same face and the same political message from either the left or the right, and I wanted to offer something independent and with a fresh face."

He added: ‘I told her [Enki] she should concentrate on the joualism and her studies, and told her to not go ahead and do this photoshoot."

While an insider at the channel said: ‘She should not be showing off everything she has, the beauty of the idea was to keep some mystery.

‘We are really pleased that the project was such a success but if she goes doing photoshoots like this then it will damage what we are trying to do."

At the time of her joining the station, Enki reportedly said: ‘I am not expecting to get famous oveight, and it"s not easy to get into the television business.

‘I"m a joualist that"s just at the beginning of her career, and at the start you have to take some risks."

Enki is currently studying public relations at a local university.

On her suspension, Ismet said: ‘We are still negotiating how we might get round the problem."
