That's one of the observations from the "Future Hipsters," a video that fast forwards to 2062 so "retired bloggers and baristas" can reflect on what the cool kids did online in 2012.

It's actually a promo for Social Media Week, a 21-city event that "[reflects] the global impact of social media." It's an interesting premise, illustrating how our tendencies to overshare and overindulge in @replies and Instagram pics could affect our future selves.
