Man found dead inside gated Southwest Atlanta apartment complex
The search has begun for a killer who shot a man and left him to die in a Southwest Atlanta apartment complex. Police rushed to the scene after receiving a report of a shooting at a complex on Old Hapeville Road.
The responding officers found a man on the ground inside the gated complex. The man was in critical condition after being shot several times.
Detectives spent a large portion of the moing searching a Ford Explorer parked in the apartment complex; they say that a shell casing was found on the floorboard of the vehicle. The unidentified victim died a while later at the hospital.
