The Chattahoochee alligator is real; If you leave it alone, it will leave you alone
It was an old wives tale that was whispered among local area residents of alligators along the Chattahoochee River. Many have dismissed the stories over time as regional folklore...until today
Cobb County nature photographer Victor Webb encountered the alligator on Wednesday. He had the liberty of snapping a few photos as the alligator was sun bathing on the bank of the Chattahoochee River. Webb says the alligator could’ve been anywhere between 8 to 10 feet in length.
