Teacher Ashley Zehnder admits having sex with student after naked selfie circulates school
A biology teacher has been forced to admit she was having sex with a student after a naked selfie circulated.
Ashley Elizabeth Zehnder, 24, told staff at Pasadena High School in Houston that pupils had got hold of a nude photo of her from an old mobile.
But after an inteal investigation it emerged that a 17-year-old boy had the picture because Zehnder had sent it to him.
They had been sleeping together since May.
Assistant district attoey Nick Socias said: ‘She admitted to sending the nude photo to the student, knowing in fact that he was a student, and that they had sex.’
Zehnder appeared in court on Monday charged with having an inappropriate relationship with a student, and has been released on bail.
She has resigned from her post at the school.
