ATLANTA - A jury has retued a verdict in the trial of a suspended Atlanta police officer accused of shooting an unarmed man.

Reginald Fisher has been found not guilty on all four counts in the shooting of Tramaine Miller in May 2009. He was facing charges including aggravated battery, aggravated assault, and violation of his oath.

Fisher claimed he was defending himself when he shot Miller two years ago at the City View apartments.

Miller had just taken medicine to his quadriplegic aunt, when the shooting happened.

Fisher claimed Miller was acting suspiciously. He says he thought Miller had a gun, but instead he was holding a cell phone.
