Police are actively searching for a man who forced his way into an apartment. Clayton County police say two armed men forced their way into a home at the Stonebrooks Apartments on Norman Drive early Tuesday, August 2.

CLAYTON COUNTY, Ga. - Police are actively searching for a man who forced his way into an apartment.

Clayton County police say two armed men forced their way into a home at the Stonebrooks Apartments on Norman Drive early Tuesday moing.

Police say the resident, who was also armed, met the suspects inside while they were gathering stuff and fired at them. The resident hit one of the men. He collapsed and was found in front of North Clayton High School, not far from the apartment complex.

Police say the man they are looking for is 20 years old but they are not yet releasing his name.
