Shermya Pyatt, mugger, found via Facebook, arrested
A 14-year-old boy from Leicester, England, was head-butted and robbed of his bike last year. Fortunately, he and his friend heard the mugger's accomplice refer to her as \"Shermya,\" so they were later able to track her down via Facebook and tu the information over to the authorities (who said they were \"seriously smart\" to do so).
Shermya Pyatt, 19, was arrested and sentenced to 22 months of detention, largely owing to her already-extensive criminal background, which included three assaults in 2006, as well as carrying an imitation firearm around a shopping center and shoplifting in 2010.
