Selfie of woman holding stolen tablet emailed to owner
The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office has identified a woman in connection with the burglary of a tablet; at the same time, investigators say a woman seen holding the device after it was stolen is not considered a suspect.
Police say a person or people broke into a home in North Jacksonville Friday, April 24.
The accused burglar or burglars reportedly came into the home through a bedroom window and took several items, including a Samsung tablet.
Later, when the tablet was tued on, it took a photo of a woman holding the device, apparently sitting in a vehicle.
The owner of the tablet received an email with the picture and the location, which was on Archery Avenue on the Northside of Jacksonville.
The woman in that photo was not considered a suspect, authorities said.
