A Saudi man divorced his wife after she ignored his WhatsApp messages.
The man texted his spouse from his office, but did not get a reply, reported Emirates24/7.
His wife is an avid mobile phone user and, thanks to the double blue ticks feature of the application, he knew she had read the messages.
Worried for her, he rushed home, only to find her watching television.
The last straw
The wife said she had been busy messaging friends and planned to reply the hubby's text later.
But alas, her decision cost her the two-year marriage.
The news site reported that the man, who is in his 30s, felt his wife was spending most of her time on her phone and neglecting to look after their home and child.
He decided to divorce her, reported GulfNews.com.
We guess not replying his WhatsApp message was the last straw.
