Saudi groom looked at bride, instantly divorced her
A Saudi groom broke the popular Arab saying 'love at the first look' and divorced his bride 'at the first look' at their wedding in the Gulf Kingdom.
The bride has just been brought to the wedding hall in the Weste Saudi town of Medinah and took off her face veil as she came close to the groom.
"When he looked at the bride, he instantly divorced her.
\"He told her that he was sorry because she was not the woman he wanted,” 'Okaz' daily said.
"The groom said he had not been able to see his bride"s face before marriage. When he divorced her, the bride collapsed and the wedding tued into a night of tears.”
