Sandy Hook school to be pulverised
A SCHOOL where a loner killed 20 pupils and six staff members, will be demolished next week and then every trace of it pulverised.
Adam Lanza using his mother's AR-15-style Bushmaster semi-automatic rifle went on the second deadliest mass shooting by a single person in American history when he entered Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtwon, Connecticut, on December 14, 2012.

Shot himself dead before he was captured ... Adam Lanza, 20, shot his teacher mother before driving to her elementary school and shooting dead 26 people including 20 children.
Only the memory of the unthinkable horror of that day - and the dust from the debris - will remain.
"We want to be absolutely certain to do everything we can to protect the privacy of the families and the Sandy Hook community," town official Patricia Llodra told AP.
"We're going to every possible length to eliminate any possibility that any artefacts from the building would be taken from the campus and ... end up on eBay."
Bricks and glass from the school will be pulverised. The steel structures will be melted down.
All material will be taken to an "undisclosed location" to spare the town further distress.
Newtown will build a new school funded by a $49.3 million state grant.
The destruction and the construction will be managed by project management company Consigli Construction, which has swo to secrecy, The News-Times reported.
Construction workers will be checked and also ordered to confidentiality.
"It's a very sensitive topic," Selectman Will Rodgers tod The News-Times. "We want it to be handled in a respectful way."
Displaced Newtown students were put in classes in the neighbouring town of Monroe.
