Sandra Bullock has been named People magazine’s World’s Most Beautiful Woman.

A major compliment, you’d reckon, and an award which many girls out there would love to have on their mantelpiece.

But bashful Sandra has reacted in a very modest fashion, commenting that the award is ‘ridiculous’ and revealing that she has ‘told no-one’ about the win.

Cat’s out of the bag now though – and we think she’s a very worthy winner.

Sandra commented that she believed beauty comes from those who aren’t trying and we reckon it is precisely that effortless charm that has won Sandra the title.

Speaking to People, she added: ‘Real beauty is quiet. Especially in this town, it’s just so hard not to say, “Oh, I need to look like that”. No, be a good person, be a good mum.’

You can be all of the above of course as well as being drop dead gorgeous – and that is exactly what Sandra has achieved.

Still got it!
