‘We have different values': Russian deputy prime minister attacks Obama’s masculinity with ‘fluffy poodle’ Twitter picture

There’s talking smack, and then there’s talking smack that could possibly start World War Three.

The Russian deputy prime minister Dmitry Rogozin is clearly well versed in the latter, as he posted this less-than-subtle picture to his Twitter account yesterday.

Clearly making a slight on President Obama’s masculinity, Rogozin places the picture of him holding a ‘fluffy poodle puppy’ next to Russian President Vladimir Putin with a baby leopard with the caption: ‘We have different values and allies.’

The photo of Obama was reportedly taken while he was running for Senate, while the manly snap of Putin was taken in the run-up to the Sochi Winter Olympics last year.

Although it has been widely reported that Obama is holding a poodle in the image, we believe it may be a bichon frise.

While the picture may seem like a simple juvenile jab, it follows the US placing further sanctions on Russia’s energy, weapons and finance industries due to their involvement in Ukraine.
