Would you use a Smart Trashbox?

Here's a nifty invention that could solve your garbage problem while transforming you into an instant trash can basketball champion.

A Japanese inventor has dreamed up the \"Smart Trashbox\" — basically a garbage can on wheels that can move to catch any screwed up bits of paper you toss its way, as shown from the 2:26 mark in this video.

An Xbox Kinect wired into the Trashbox lets it track any bits and pieces heading its way. Although its accuracy apparently still leaves a lot to be desired, surely this is the first step in creating robots who'll follow us around all day picking up our junk.

Would you use a Smart Trashbox?
