According to CNN, Rachelle Bond, the girl's mother, and her boyfriend, Michael McCarthy, have been arrested in connection with the death of "Baby Doe."

Neighbors have identified the woman who lives in a house where a search warrant was executed as Rachelle Bond. Bond is the mother of a girl named Bella, FOX25 reported.

Neighbors have said they have not seen the child in months.

Authorities have not released the name of the child, but MyFoxBoston reported Friday that a search warrant has been executed in Mattapan, Mass. Police are questioning a woman believed to be her mother.

The body, believed to be of a 4-year-old girl, was found by a woman walking her dog on June 25.

After the body was discovered, police received thousands of tips with possible identities. Investigators also posted billboards across the state asking for tips to help identify her.

An analysis of the pollen on the girl's clothing indicated that she was likely from the Boston area.

No further information was immediately available.
