Portland computer expert Marlin Pohlma accused of drugging, sexually assaulting four women he met at parties
An Oregon computer executive has been arrested on charges he raped four women he met at parties after drugging them with spring-loaded syringes.
Marlin Brandt Pohlman, 43, was handcuffed at Portland Inteational Airport on Wednesday as he retued home from a vacation to Thailand.
When police searched his home, they found what appeared to be a makeshift drug lab, including beakers filled with unknown chemicals. Hazardous materials teams were called in to haul away and test the substances.
Police say Pohlman used a cocktail of drugs, including LSD, ecstasy and nitrous oxide - laughing gas - to render them unconscious, according to the Portland Oregonian.
He then allegedly took them to his home and raped them.
Detectives have interviewed four women who say they were attacked by Pohlman. But, they fear he could have other victims.
Pohlman is being held on $2million bail - a remarkably high sum for Portland.
According to reports, he was chief goveing officer at EMC Corporation - a major tech company that specializes in data storage and cloud computing.
He also worked for Oracle and wrote about book about managing employee access to Oracle databases.
Pohlman, who was raised in Oklahoma, survived Hodgkin's lymphoma cancer three times.

In online writings, he claims that an experiment cancer drug he took dramatically increased his mental acuity.
He claims he used the increased brain power to study time travel and patent a time machine.
Pohlman appears obsessed with John Titor, a man who made several online postings in 2000 and 2001 claiming that he was a time traveler from the future.
Pohlman's mother, Wynema, told the Oregonian that she was shocked by the charges.
'This is so totally out of character for him. I'm just at a loss,' she said.
She said her son is a self-taught computer genius, whose fascination with computers began as a child.
A woman answered the door at Pohlman's Portland home when police arrived to search it. She is cooperating with the investigation, detectives said.
Pohlman is charged with two counts of first-degree kidnapping, two counts of first-degree rape, three counts of first-degree sex abuse, four counts of causing someone to ingest a controlled substance, four counts of third-degree assault, two counts of attempted first-degree rape, one count of third-degree sodomy and four counts each of reckless endangerment and harassment.
