The accident happened on Flat Shoals Road at Harper Valley on Saturday. Fulton County police said the mother was driving erratically and veered into the path of a van.

She had four kids in the car. The van she hit had two adults and two kids.

The Fulton County Medical Examiner identified the deceased as Joshua Jenkins of College Park.

In total, eight people were hurt including four kids and the deceased. Their ages range from 18 months to 5 years old. Three of the children were listed in critical condition.

The driver who police said caused the accident was listed in stable condition. Police plan to question her Monday.
