Police identify William Randall and Tony Samples in fatal Canton triple shooting
CANTON, Ga. - Police have identified two men killed in a triple shooting outside a home in Canton late Sunday night.
According to Canton police, the victims are William Kendrick Randall, 23, of Canton, and Tony Samples, 26, of Ballground. They were both killed in the shooting, which happened around 11:30 p.m.
Officers responded to a 911 call at a home on Jefferson Circle in Canton. Upon arrival, they found one of the deceased victims in a grassy area adjacent to Crisler Street. They found an injured male inside the home with non-life threatning injuries. He was transported to Kennestone Hospital. A third man was found dead in a vehicle nearby. Police said he'd also been shot and died as he was heading to the hospital.
Investigators said they are working a number of leads, but so far haven't made any arrests. They also did not release a suspect description.
The motive for the deadly shooting is unknown.
