Police: Decatur man Calvin Ray Jr used samurai swords to kill parents

DeKalb police say a man has been arrested in the stabbing of his parents in Decatur.

The stabbing happened at a home on the 3000 block of Pheasant Drive. According to police, the 39-year-old son, identified as Calvin Ray Jr., stabbed his parents to death using samurai swords.

Investigators said his parents were 73 and 75-years-old.

A family member found a married couple dead in their home around 4 p.m.

Investigators said Ray took one of his parents' cars and left the scene but was located shortly after at Chapel Hill Park.
