A pilot who allegedly allowed a beautiful singer to take control of his plane while flying has been sacked.

The captain of the plane lost his job after images of Esmeralda Ugalde, 23, were uploaded to Twitter by her friend, where they quickly went viral.

Although the singer"s friend Samadhi Zendejas, who posted the images, came to the defence of the pilot by claiming the plane was on the ground when they were taken, the captain admitted the misconduct and was was fired as a result.

A spokesman Magnicharters, the unnamed captain"s now former employers, said: ‘We cannot allow a pilot to make this kind of mistake, it is just not allowed.

‘Even if the autopilot was working it is not allowed to do something like this."

They commented that the South American actress, who was pictured wearing the captain"s hat, should not have even been allowed in the cockpit, let alone behind the controls during the flight from Cancun to Mexico city.

‘We are a serious company and we are deeply saddened about the fact that one of our staff behaved in this way," they added.
