People are mocking Apple boss Tim Cook’s blurry iPhone pic of the Super Bowl
iPhoneography.

That's the art of taking beautiful, high quality photographs using just your iPhone…

But if Apple chief executive Tim Cook was trying to demonstrate it, he missed the mark with this tweet from the Super Bowl last night.

The shot is so blurry it's hard to tell if people are celebrating or running from a particularly heavy downpour.

Colorado Rocky Mountain High congrats @Broncos! pic.twitter.com/3l3gpqWaKj — Tim Cook (@tim_cook) February 8, 2016

Other users were quick to mock the quality of his phone photo.

@tim_cook @Broncos was that taken from an iphone? Jeez I hope not Tim. — Mark Freeman (@markfreeman) February 8, 2016

Somehow, it just didn't impress.

@tim_cook Uh... Is the message here that iPhones take terrible photos of important moments?! Because that really seems to be the msg here. — Rich Brome (@rbrome) February 8, 2016

.@tim_cook That picture speaks very bad either about you as a photographer or the iPhone as a camera — heshor (@heshor) February 8, 2016

Some gave the benefit of the doubt *eyebrow raise*

@tim_cook @Broncos c'mon guys! I believe this is a blurred photo because he wanted to share the excitement of the winning team — Lorenzo Viola (@lorenzoviolone) February 8, 2016

@tim_cook Dear Tim Cook, please discard plastic bags and use paper bags that customers could reuse or recycle easily @ all Apple Stores !!! — Buzz Meister (@TravellingBuzz) February 8, 2016

But mostly, people just relentlessly took the mick.

@tim_cook @Broncos This is a new \"Action\" camera feature of the soon to be released iPhone7.. Stable pics are so last 2015. #iPhoneFail — Gian Carlo (@Real_Gian_Carlo) February 8, 2016

@tim_cook @Broncos if you need good camera better buy Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+ or Nexus 6p. — Eduards Sa (@theedik2) February 8, 2016

@tim_cook @Broncos Taken on a potato err iPhone, what's the difference! — Richard Hendra (@richboyz2016) February 8, 2016

It probably won't go down as a PR success.

At least you got on the field though, Tim, eh?
