EIGHT months after his death, actor Paul Walker’s teenage daughter Meadow has signalled that her wounds are healing with a simple Instagram post.

‘Glad to be back,’ the 15-year-old posted on her public Instagram account today, sharing a picture of herself smiling in a bikini on a beach.

'Glad to be back'

The teen created official Instagram, Facebook and Twitter channels in the wake of her father’s death, in a bid to combat unofficial accounts. For the most part, they’ve lain dormant.

Walker and his friend and fellow fast-car enthusiast Roger Rodas died on November 30 last year when the 2005 Porsche Carrera GT they were travelling in smashed into a light pole and tree in Southe Califoia.

According to TMZ, the Fast & The Furious star felt too overwhelmed with work commitments and felt his daughter needed a more stable presence in her life.

On the day of his death, Walker reportedly asked his mother to retire from her job as a nurse to look after Meadow full-time.
