Paris Hilton becomes the latest 'swatting' victim
Paris Hilton has joined the likes of Tom Cruise and the Kardashians after police were summoned to her home on a false alarm.
The prank call trend, which is known as 'swatting' because swat teams descend on the celebrity home in question has been taking hold in Los Angeles over recent months.
According to TMZ, police were called at 5.22pm this evening and informed that somebody had broken into the blonde heiress' home.
They add that there was no mention of anyone being armed, as there has been in the past.
Paris is currently in Miami, so was well out of the danger zone.
Ashton Kutcher, Justin Bieber, Chris Brown and Clint Eastwood have also been 'targeted.'
