One dead 15 injured after huge explosion in Barcelona resort town
AN explosion at a block of flats in Barcelona has killed at least one person and injured dozens more.
The blast happened at a seven-storey block in Premia de Mar north east of the Catalan capital.
It is understood to have occured on the second floor of the building with most of the residents inside.
The fierce explosion caused a huge fire to tear through the property.

TRAGIC: The cause of the deadly explosion remains a mystery
One terrified resident was spotted dangling naked from a window in a bid to reach safety.
The entire building was evacuated.
Gas technicians visited the site but the cause of the horror is not yet known.
It is believed the fatality was a middle-aged woman.
